Empire State Development’s International Division and the United Nations Procurement Division are hosting the nation's first and only free UN Procurement Seminar for New York State Companies, Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 10:00 am to 4 pm at ESD's offices, 633 Third Avenue, 38th Floor (between 40th and 41st Street), New York, NY 10017.
The UN procures an estimated $9.6 billion per year. This seminar will teach NYS companies how to bid on UN procurement offerings and provide UN program officers to assist them in registering then and there for the online UN procurement system.
Registration for the online UN Procurement System is free of charge, but is limited to the first 70 companies whose business activities correspond with the relevant goods and services in demand by the UN Procurement system.
